The Alphacool Ice Block Aurora Plexi GPX-N RTX 3080/3090 combines style with performance and extensive digital RGB lighting. The experience of more than 17 years has been incorporated into these graphics card water coolers and represent the current highlight of Alphacool product development.

During the development of the ice block Aurora GPX-N RTX 3080/3090 graphics card water cooler, of course, emphasis was also placed on an increase in performance. In the first step, the cooler was brought closer to the individual components by reducing the thermal pads to a thickness of 1 mm. In the second step, the nickel-plated copper block was also thinner. Instead of 7 mm, it is only 5.5 mm thick. The water flow has also been optimized within the cooler. All important components such as the voltage converters and the RAM are now cooled by the water much better and more effectively. All of this ensures a significant increase in cooling performance.

The Aurora GPX-N RTX 3080/3090 cooler ice block has been built in such a way that the lighting is more in the foreground than the previous models. The addressable digital RGB LEDs are inserted directly into the cooling block and run along the side of the entire cooling block. The effect is a lighting that encloses the entire cooling block. No corner or edge remains unlit by the aRGB LEDs. The new design is more angular, with all edges beveled. The result is better light dispersion in the water cooler due to the reflections on these slants. In addition, they create various contours that give the Aurora GPX-N RTX 3080/3090 cooler an entirely unique optical touch.

Alphacool, of course, uses only copper in its water coolers. On the Aurora GPX-N RTX 3080/3090 ice block, the copper is nickel-plated. Compared to the previous models, However, Alphacool has further improved the type of nickel plating, which significantly increased acid resistance. A bursting nickel plating should be excluded.

The graphics card water cooler ice block Aurora GPX-N RTX 3080/3090 also relies on the new patented locking screws, which close flush with the surface of the terminal. The Alphacool logo now sits in the corner on the top and is also fully illuminated. On the front of the terminal you can see corresponding names of the compatible graphics card types. Of course, these are also fully illuminated by the digital LEDs. IN and OUT are now characterized by small subtle triangles. They are easily recognizable and fit perfectly into the entire optical line of the graphics card water cooler.
The Alphacool Aurora GPX-N RTX 3080/3090 Plexi is a complete evolution of the previous Alphacool graphics card water cooler.

EVGA uses an extended layout of Geforce Reference RTX 3080 cards. The Alphacool ice block cooler does not cover this overhang. In this area, however, there are no components that require passive or active cooling!
